Every coating, paint and preservative and pressure-treated wood is now prohibited on your dock.  The application of these coatings is also prohibited on the shore.  The better solution is natural wood such as cedar or spruce.

“The use of treated wood containing chlorophenol, chromated copper arsenate (CCA), pentachlorophenol (PCP), creosote, or including a formulation with a base of chlorophenate or borax as well as their derivatives used for wood protection is prohibited on the shore.”

There has been some confusion of what is acceptable and what is not especially concerning the recent ‘eco’ preserved wood.  A check with the provincial government confirmed that no treated wood, green or otherwise is acceptable.

Please, do the right thing for the goodness of our lake, its environment and our wildlife!  Let your dock be naked!
